First tourists arrived on Sithonia

Let’s remember, in April Greece allowed more countries to enter without having to follow quarantine restrictions and while preparing for the summer season, Greece is also speeding up vaccinations for workers in tourism and some other industries.

On May the 15th Greece started a new summer season and opened its borders for tourists. And today, the roads of Sithonia are not empty any more. These days you can see many cars with Romanian, Bulgarian, North Macedonian, Serbian etc. plates. It’s still just a few compared to the same period in 2019, but it looks promising and we hope it is just an introduction to an amazing summer. You can hear that if you ask the locals. They are happy and ready for their first guests after a long break.
