Every year, a group of adventurous Polish students embark on a journey across Europe to reach their destination, this year Thallata Camp in Kalamitsi, Greece. They do this not by plane or train, but by hitchhiking. This unique game among students is called the Auto Stop Race and this year, around 1500 students from the University of Poland participated.
The journey begins in the city of Wroclaw in Poland and from there, the students hitchhike through the Czech Republic, Serbia, and North Macedonia, until they reach their final destination – the Thalatta Camp in the picturesque village Kalamitsi, Halkidiki Greece. The journey is long, tiring, and unpredictable. Some students have to wait for up to 8 hours until they find a kind-hearted driver who agrees to take them further on their journey.

The team that reaches Kalamitsi first wins, and hitchhiking is the only mode of transportation allowed.
