Organized by the Parthenon Cultural Association and supported by the Municipality of Sithonia, this year’s event saw participants trekking through Sithonia’s mountain paths to experience its natural wonders and enjoy cultural festivities.
Hikers of all ages joined from seven different starting points, setting off early to explore Dragoudeli’s rugged landscape. The event featured seven walking trails and a special route for cyclists, linking the Toroneos and Singitic Gulfs. Volunteers from the Dragoudeli team accompanied walkers on the scenic 23 km journey from Sykia to Parthenonas, where the day concluded with lively cultural activities in the picturesque village square.
Prominent figures such as Halkidiki MP Kyriaki Malama, Halkidiki Deputy Regional Governor Katerina Zografou, and Sithonia Mayor Yiannis Mallinis attended the event. Following the hike, participants were treated to local dishes, wine, and traditional music, celebrating another successful year of this beloved event that continues to promote the beauty and community spirit of Sithonia.
