The 723rd Army Engineering Battalion handles the installation, ensuring safe travel for residents and vehicles. The Regional Unit of Halkidiki requested the bridge as a quick solution until a permanent one was built.

Officials Thank the Armed Forces

Deputy Regional Governor Katerina Zografou visited the site, thanking the Armed Forces for their support. She stated: โ€œRestoring daily life for our residents was a priority. We appreciate the quick response in making travel safe again.โ€

What is a Bailey Bridge?

Bailey bridges were first used in World War II. They are strong, easy to set up, and commonly used for temporary road repairs.
