19th Dragoudeli Pass on November 3, 2024: 7 Hiking Routes and a Cycling Path in Sithonia

On Sunday, November 3rd, the 19th Dragoudeli Pass (Eng: Dragon Tail Passage), a popular environmental event in Halkidiki, will take place.

This event offers seven scenic hiking routes and one cycling path. Organized by the “Parthenonas” Cultural Association, it has become a local tradition, attracting nature enthusiasts to explore the beautiful mountainous landscapes of Sithonia.

Hiking and Cycling Routes:

  • 9:00 AM: 1st Route (17 km) – Parthenonas – Askania – Psaria – Prophet Elias – Akanos – Parthenonas
  • 8:30 AM: 2nd Route (23 km) – Kerasia – Manolakoudi – Itamos – Psaria – Prophet Elias – Palaimonas – Parthenon
  • 11:00 AM: 3rd Route (6.5 km) – Parthenonas – Kryoneri – Aspropetres – Saint Athanasios – Parthenonas
  • 11:30 AM: 4th Route (3 km) – Parthenonas – Dimitraki – Vrysouda – Parthenonas
  • 9:30 AM: 5th Route (10 km) – Tripotamos Monastery – Themeli – Lykopouliana – Saint Athanasios – Parthenon
  • 10:00 AM: 6th Route (6.5 km) – AVIN Gas Station – Mana Nerou – Parthenon
  • 9:30 AM: 7th Route (18 km) – Saint Paul’s Chapel Nikiti – Livadia – Askania – Kryoneri – Parthenonas
  • 10:30 AM: Cycling Route (18 km) – Saint Paul’s Chapel – Livadia – Askania – Kryoneri – Parthenonas

The event aims to encourage participants to explore and appreciate nature, raising awareness of Sithonia’s rich forest and natural beauty. Cultural events will follow in Parthenonas Square.
