Marina Satti: A Musical Sensation
Marina Satti, at the age of 36, is a multi-talented Greek singer, songwriter, and music producer. Her unique style seamlessly blends traditional Greek sounds with contemporary pop and urban influences.
Born in Athens and raised in Heraklion, Crete, Marina Satti exhibited her musical inclinations from a young age. She embarked on classical piano lessons and vocal training, setting the stage for her remarkable career. Although she began studying architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, her true calling in music eventually prevailed.
In 2008, Marina Satti graduated with honors, securing first place in lyrical monody, guided by the accomplished baritone Panos Dimas. She furthered her musical education by studying jazz at the Nakas Conservatory and earning a second degree in advanced classical studies. An exciting opportunity to study at the Berklee College of Music in the United States marked a turning point in her career.
Marina founded “fonés,” a polyphonic women’s group, and “chóres,” a choir of 200 women, with a mission to promote Greek traditional songs on the international stage. Her emphasis on choirs and poetic fusion distinguishes her artistic approach.
In 2022, Marina released her first full-length personal album, “Yenna”, showcasing her evolution as an artist. Beyond her music career, she has also graced the stage as an actress at prestigious institutions like the National Theatre of Greece, the Greek National Opera, and the Athens Festival.

Greece’s Eurovision Journey
Greece’s journey in the Eurovision Song Contest dates back to 1974, with 43 participations to date. Their shining moment came in 2005 when Helena Paparizou’s performance of “My Number One” secured Greece’s first victory.
