Halkidiki experiences a 3.2 magnitude earthquake, and Sykia bears the brunt

In a seismic event on Monday at around 14:25, an earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale shook Halkidiki. The quake’s epicenter was located 13.4 kilometers southwest of Sykia, which suffered the most significant earthquake.

According to reports, the earthquake had a focal depth of 13.9 kilometers. The local authorities are assessing the situation and providing assistance to those affected by the earthquake. There have been no reports of casualties or serious damage to infrastructure, but residents are advised to remain cautious and vigilant in the aftermath of the quake.
