The municipality of Sithonia in the program “Ecology and Philhellenism”

The municipality of Sithonia was selected in the program of Ecology and Philhellenism “Clean it like the Greek” carried out by the AQUAHELP Foundation in collaboration with the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT) and the Ministry of Tourism.

This program started this summer and it is a movement of ecology and global philhellenism with the aim of making Greece the cleanest country in the world in 2024.

The “Clean it like the Greek”, is a program under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization, but it will also be an inspiration and ecological alarm throughout Greece, giving a different meaning to the term fashionable enjoyable ecology.

As part of the signing of the Charter of Ecological Consciousness and coexistence between AQUAHELP Foundation and the Municipality of Sithonia, it will be organized on August 20, 2021, from 17:30 to 18:30 on Nikiti beach by volunteers. The meeting point is the Holy Temple of Agios Theodoros, where those who wish to accompany the action can come.

With clear ecological DNA, it designs and implements educational actions, interventions of ecological participation, and awakening, seeking to strengthen individual and corporate responsibility towards the planet in a gentle, friendly, and modern way.
