Nikiti is the largest resort in Sithonia. About 2,500 people live permanently in Nikiti. The city was built in the 14th century. Nikiti is divided into the old part, where mainly local residents live, and the seaside part, where everything is created for a comfortable stay. There are many cafes, taverns, beach bars, shops, supermarkets, a diving center.
🏖 The main beach is 4 km long and 10 m wide. The sandy bottom and gentle slope make it attractive for families with small children. The southern part of the beach is suitable for lovers of calm and secluded relaxation.
👶 There is a Lunapark with attractions for children. The water park has been operating since this year. Cost 10 € per person for the whole day. After 17 hours – 7 €. Children under 12 years old accompanied by adults.
🌊 The most beautiful beaches of Sithonia are located 10 minutes away by car: Lagomandra, Kalogria, Elia, Spaties, etc.
✔ I advise you to try Greek cuisine in the Arsanas tavern (approximate cost 25-30 € per person). For those who like more gourmet Mediterranean cuisine – the Rizes restaurant (30-40 € per person). And the most delicious ice cream🍨 can be found near the church in Spitaki.
Have you been to the city of Nikiti? What do you like the most there?
